Symptoms of anxiety
When you are anxious you may feel as if you are in possible danger, and this will activate your fight-or-flight responses (when your body goes into a state of high alert, ready to fight or get away fast.)
Symptoms may include:
- Your heart beating faster
- Feelings of tension and restlessness
- More rapid breathing
- Difficulty sleeping
- Eating more or less than usual, drinking, smoking and/or drugs.
Treating anxiety
The CRM based therapy I offer can be a very effective treatment for anxiety, both in the short term and the long term.
In the longer term, CRM will teach you skills that give you the mental strength to be far better at coping with future obstacles.
